Our First Grade musicians take some big learning leaps in Music during this year. We learn how to take our musical ideas and notate them as well as interpret the musical ideas of others in First Grade. In our classroom, you will find kiddos reading and writing their first rhythms and solfege as well as performing written music.  It is so exciting to watch as students begin to really dive into this new musical language!  This new learning is achieved through a great deal of movement and musical exploration using technology, manipulatives, singing games, and instruments.
